Reads? I like just a call on that flop. If you re-raise, only better hands call and weaker hands fold? Your TPTK is either wa/wb. Assuming he is not a total fish that is... There are no real draws here that I'm afraid of, so I like just calling and see what he does on the turn. Maybe he will keep betting his QK.

Thats a horrible push without a read IMO.

If he has a set or something worth raising with then you just gave him your stack.

If he has a weaker Q, or he was testing you with a low PP then he folds easily. OOP this is a nasty spot. Theres not really any 2 pair he could have, and hes not going to be semibluffing a draw on that board.

I think he probably has a set but I might call and see what he does on the turn. I might just fold it straight up and pretend he caught a cbet. Either way im keeping a close eye on him to see how often he does this.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

My thought was that he would probably just be calling with a set in position and with no scary draws on the board, knowing that he is way ahead and hoping that i will fire again on the turn. I put him on a hand like kq, and maybe this is the wrong way to think about it, but i wanted to get all of my chips in while i was ahead. If he is playing a hand like q10s, qjs, or qk, how should i play it if a 10, j, or k, comes on the turn and he raises my bet or bets out after my check.

Also, if u recommend a call, do u bet out again if a nonscare card comes on the turn, or check/call?

If you put him on a hand like QT - QK, why push? Only a mega fish will call here with TPDK (not sure of the exact phrase Top Pair Decent Kicker). Pushing here on the flop will get him to fold when you're well ahead, or call when you're very very behind.

I can't think of a real scare card to fall. Maybe a K or J, but that's the worst I can think of. If you put him on KQ or something, and a K hits, I would go into check/call. If he is agro, which it seems like, I like giving him rope on the turn and coming over the top of him. If he likes to check down, I like value betting til the river. Reads are key in hands like this. I'm no expert here so I always like to be told when I am wrong, so if you disagree please tell why.

Ur pretty much on TPTk what hands beat you aa kk qq(unlikey) 66 33

those are what 5 hands? And i doubt he would call an all in without having them. So probably like give me my lag says, just bet flop if scare card comes u could do a defense bet, or u could check call to see both hands. They like to flat call with kings and aces sometimes, because some cant lay down aq.
But thats probably one of the most common scenoris that flop a common example of

TPTK on a great board, that might be beat.

There must be a 100 sceniores on this board.

me id bet flat call his continuation bet, if a non scare card comes off on the turn i might bet out. Hes bet could posssible be to see if ur just continuatin bet flop he might have jj or 10 10 .

ahhhhahahahha 100101010100129310283048032501248439 different ways to play it. Dont get attached thought to tptk, sometimes u have to cringe and just let it go

Call flop and push turn is much better.
