Raise or fold?

    Default Raise or fold?

Okay, I've been calling with hands like KJ, QJ, KQ pf; but now I'm not sure what to do when people fold behind me.

Now I'm starting to either raise these hands when it's just the blinds, or just junk them if I'm in early position. (Side benefit is its improving my pfr %)

Is there a case for opening limp with these hands?

    No hindsight for the blind.
I mostly fold QJ, limp KJ and raise KQ.

Not sure what you mean by what to do when they fold behind you? Rake in the chips?

Im also trying to improve my pfr%, for me that means raising more.

    LOL.
I mean if you are the first into the pot (other than the blinds) are you willing to open with a limp?

I figured something like that. But "behind" usually means "after", right?

I'll usually open fold QJ, and open raise KJ and KQ. With KJ/KQ I'm usually comfortable with pairing either card on a 2-3-way flop, with QJ I'm not.

The only hand I'm open-limping is Axs in EP at a passive table with a high players pr flop % (and I'm not really sure if that's a good play at all).

I fold all of these hands from early position, every single time.

I'm unlikely to limp them late, as there's little reason to do so - it's much better to simply raise and take the lead in the hand.

Raising these out of position is likely to get you into some trouble postflop, however.

For the record, I play AJ and AT pretty much the same way.

    what he said

limping for me is almost as bad as minraising, if i'm in a hand i want everybody to know it( if i get resistance with those hands i fold)

I muck all of these hands EP, raise KQ MP+, limp QJs MP+ behind other limpers.

I don't play KJ except in very-multiway pots when it's suited.

Also, why are you trying to "improve your PFR%"?

Instead try to improve your aggression. The PFR will come hand-in-hand with that. Finding more hands to raise preflop isn't really going to do anything to improve your game. Finding more spots to put in a raise, however, is going to change your game drastically.

    Even with 22-99?
