Default A couple of hands from Vegas

I have tried to remember all the details....

    Hand #1:
Playing 1-3NL (I have about $500 sitting in front of me, MP about $300) - 4 people limp (not uncommon at this table - MP seems like a pretty solid player although does play a few too many hands), I complete with A4o.
Flop A94 rainbow - I lead for $15, MP is the only person who calls.
Turn Q (board now has a flush draw) - I bet $30 and MP raises to $60. I call and check the river which was a rag.

Does anybody reraise the turn or value bet the river?

    Hand #2

I am played 1-3 NL and am in SB once again (I have about $1000 and LP about $200) - 3 limpers and I see A10o - I complete and flop comes AJ4 (2 clubs - I don't have a club). I check and LP bets $10 - I call and everyone else folds.
    Turn - Qh - I bet $20

Does anyone like this?? - My thought process on this one was a hard bet for him to call and really tells me where I am at. The player I was against had shown that he could lay a hand down.

Hand 1 - reraise the turn to make see where you stand, and based on this and your read either lead out with a large bet on the river or check/call?

Hand 2 - I'd check-raise his stack on the turn. The only hand beat you and he would bet on the flop he would've raised preflop except for A4.

First hand, I call the turn, checl/call a blank river.

Second hand, fairly standard, although I like leading the flop here.

WTF??? I dont think so...44 is a good possibility as well as JJ as many players hate to raise it PF or simply like to trap with it.

    Anyway...

Hand 1- fold PF...but other than that...meh, the turn call isnt my fav play...I'd rather 3 bet him and fold to a push. If he calls I'm half potting the river for value and folding to a raise.

Hand 2- This line is actually pretty weak. I dont know why but I really dont like the check call on the flop with this weak of a hand. Just lead the flop and let them raise you out here or on the turn if they have a better hand.

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

The reason I lead the flop on the 1st hand is the same reason why I check the flop in the second hand....Pot Control. The first hand I want to build a pot and in the second I don't. In the second hand, A10 is not a great hand...and I know this.

The check-call is very weak, but there are a lot of people in the hand to act behind me. The players were extremely loose and weak (I don't think a player would lead out trips at this table, save me and I am not worried about trips here at all). The reason I don't check-raise the flop is because I want more streets behind me on this hand.

Online I usually wouldn't play hand #1, but I felt sufficiently comfortable live to open up my game a lot preflop and be able to get away from losing hands on the flop, and 11-1 odds are pretty nice.
