Incorporating Blind Steal in Cash Games
I'm recently having my first downswing (down 2-3 bb) playing $50N/L. I've recently adapted Rypptide's blind stealing method where if 2 or 3 players are in the pot and everyone checks around to me I'll bet and try to steal the pot. What I'm wondering is that if your the original raiser preflop, is a pot bet (is this why Ripptyde means by being commited to a steal?) too big of a risk in the long run. Will the amount of stolen pots be profitable over the attempts that are unsuccessful. Recently I've been in a slump trying out different things and I want to make this a bread and butter play. Anyone has a real answer to this???
