    Default Question about aggressive play.

Sup guys, i'm new to forum and I already have a question hehe. I was just wondering from your past experiences and/or tactics, what to do if you play aggressive and somebody smells that you raise x3bb everytime on button or whatever and then they check-raise or bluff CR you. What would be a good defense or counter-play?

Keep playing this way, if they always think you are bluffing that means you have broken them, and when you hit a monster it will get paid off very well

I feel like I'm giving away a secret play or something but if you suspect a bluff checkraise (a check min-raise on the flop is a common one) call the raise then lead for half the pot on the turn. Cheapest, safest way to break this one off. Then show your cards and raise 3xbb with AA, cuz you'll get it next hand.

Why are you raising 3xBB every time you have the button? I mean I understand what these guys are saying. You should use that loose image later to get your good hands payed off, but that assumes you switch gears at some point. It sounds to me like you intend on raising 3xBB on the button no matter what you have until the end of time.

Your problem is one of predictability. You're basically disrespecting your opponents intelligence. Whenever you dare your opponents to challenge you, I can guarantee it's going to happen. These are human beings you're playing against. They're not going to watch you raise the button every time and say "Oh well, I guess he has AA, and I'm out of position with my KK so I'll fold". I'm getting extreme here, but you understand my point.

In this game J-ManTx, you are served best by efficiently riding the curve of your image. By knowing what your opponents think of you before they do, you gain advantage by working against that image. You do this by forcing them to think of you a certain way. You act loose now to get action later when you have a hand. Raising 3xBB every time you have the button is a loose act. You're getting what you asked for. You're asking to be played back at. You have them right where you want them. You pulled their noses close to the grind. Now turn the grind on.

Don't be one of those guys who plays cards as if they're prancing around singing "I act loose. I'm a loose son of a bitch. You can't beat me. I bluff you. You can't catch me. I'm too good." If you do, then don't come crying when you get slaughtered like a scottish peasant. Play AGAINST your image. RESPECT your opponents intelligence. Be MORE INTELLIGENT. Predictable maniacs die.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Haha no maniac here, I just occasionally do it when the time is right. Like when its limped or folded to me at a tight table in a sng. I don't raise on every button just for the hell of it.
