Nasty nasty hand this. (if ppl complain about JJ then im complaining about this one)
Was wondering about some ideas on how best to play it in some general situations
Personally if in position anything like two prior to button ill try and raise and represent on the flop?
ANybody else other ideas?
If im not given oppertunity to raise it i fold it.
Like to call with it in raised pots though.
Thoughts? different strategies?

Maybe in late position with J-10 suited I will raise if the pot hasnt been entered

J-10 Suited: Mix It Up, sometimes limp sometimes raise small and big

Lets face it the real strength of this hand comes by seeing flops cheap and hitting a straight draw. The main thing I like to do with this hand is for the flop to come 89 or QK or Q9 and for me to play my draw super strong

Miffed you mind if I add QT and KT to this cos all these hands been causing me troubles?

My strat at the moment is,

EP: fold them all.
MP: limp KT, fold to a raise. Maybe QT.
LP: Limp them all, fold to a raise, maybe call a minraise with position and odds.
SB: complete, fold to a raise.
BB: fold to a raise.

I'm playing tables with lots of passives so not much PFRing, good chance to limp. I wanna see a cheap flop for a straight. I will probe bet a top pair and fold to any show of strength.

Are all these hands inherently the same?

I hate to disagree with 'rilla... but JTs is my favorite hand!

Playing at lower limits, where lots of people limp (and let you limp) this is one of the most profitable hands I've found!

Off suit I handle it just like any other connector below AK - weak, but with both the straight and flush opportunities, it's a gold mine, and easy to fold if you don't hit it.

I fold this garbage on the button in most case, and certainly from all other positions.

I like JT ok. There is a fine line for me between dangerous connectors and medium suited connectors that I like. That line comes between QJ and JT to me. Of course neither are really playable against a significant raise but QJ is so freakin' deadly. If I can't see the next card for free I am not putting a dime on a table with QJ unless I flop two pair, and really, that's dangerous -- I only feel comfortable betting QJ when I flop a straight or trips.

98s and below are quite easy to get away from and pay off huge when they hit.
