In agreeance with Miffed22001, definately overbet any hand where you think your opponent has just caught a made hand like a set or straight on the turn or river, yet you still have them beat. I think people are much more likely to call overbets if they have just caught a key card for their hand. Alot of the time it blinds them to the other possiblities out there, and they really only have to call one big overbet to get them into a situation where they might not be able to fold on later streets. |

Overbetting can be used a few different ways. Knowing your opponent is on the draw, sometimes requires an overbet to convince him to fold. |

Play really laggy with lots of raising and re-raising and when you have a power house bet huge just like you have a powerhouse. If you set up the table right, they won't believe you and you can pull in some big pots. |
