This is a SnG right? Once you get "counterfeited" so-to-speak, I'd probably fold to an all-in. He probably has something better than top pair good kicker.

The spades don't matter to him. He already has trips over your 2 pair. You only have 4 outs to boat up.

Bet more on the flop, more on the turn, and fold to the huge turn raise. He told you he had a 3, why didn't you believe him?

The pot was 250 at that time. You could have had a bit with a bet larger than 100. And if you didn't get a bite with a 200 bet, you probably wouldn't have done better with a 100 bet.

On the other hand, a nice 2/3 to pot sized flop bet would have had one of these positive effects:

1) Assuming he has any sense, there is a great chance that King2King would have folded his bottom pair /flush draw. Granted , it's would not have been a huge win, but it's better than a huge loss.

2) If there are callers, then you know to proceed with caution, because there probably some big hands out there. If you get callers but find out they were on draws, then you are still ahead because you know who the chasers are. Information= $$$. Profit from them.

Bet more on the flop, pay off trips on the river. Nothing you can do there. If you bet 200-250 on the flop you can't fold on the turn. He isn't folding a pair and the draw i don't think.

bet the pot on the flop.
Its an active one with draws so make anyone else pay if they are drawing.
Personally if i was going to push i would have done on the flop to over protect my hand. If the drawer calls with bottom pair and hits trips or the flush then im calling that a beat.
Your unlucky on the turn that he has trips but id pay them off all day with your flopped hand.

With 5 in and a two suited flop you have to bet more on the flop, somewhere over 1/2 pot to pot. I'd lean towards about 175-200.
