Default should i move up the limits?

hi, just a quick question or two. i've got my br upto 200$ from 35$. playing strictly .10/.20 no limit shorthanded 6 max. and a few 2.50$ SnG's around 8 and ive won 4 came second twice and lost 2.

my target was when i reached 200$ to play .25/.50 is this a wise move considering i'd only have 4 times the max buy in of 50$?

i'm also getting a fair share of bad beats or players just sucking out on me with dumb calls.... is this just because im playing low limit and would moving up a few levels weed out the dumb play(an example: KK in the hole, raised 4x BB pre flop one caller re raises me i go all in because i've been watching him play junk so i move all in he calls and shows A3. great im getting paid.... not. flop cam 3 3 7 9 Q.) anyway. should i move up the stakes or stay where i am.

Always play within you bankroll. For NL ring you need around 15 buyins for each level. So you need to wait until you have $750 to play .25/.50.

My advice is play .10/.20 NL ring still and throw in a few $5 SnGs.

This post will help you understand the concept of BR management: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...pic.php?t=4971

    Good luck!

well i read your advice and being stubborn as i am decided to dip my toe in the water and play a buy ins worth of chips at .25/.50 limits. much better play harder to read the players but i still managed to win a little over half my buy in of $50 putting my br at 230$ i like the play alot more on those tables but can see how i would easily go broke playing there.

15 buyins is the minimum you need to play, and you are under bankrolled for 0.1/0.2 as it is, so i'd even consider moving down to 0.05/.1, although you aren't dangerously under bankrolled, so as long as you are cautious and willing to move down if you start losing you migh tbe alright.
