    Default Calling all-ins

I play sit'n'goes at 2+0,50$ and the opponents in my games frequently goes all-in.

I feel like I loose credebility when I do a raise with a real hand and someone raises me all-in making me fold. I mean, I don't like to gamble and will only call a big all-in with my very best hands.

I think theese guys will see me as weak even though I was the original aggressor and start using this as a strategy against me.

    What to do?

That's $2+$0.50 for any Americans reading this. (I don't want anyone to get confused.)

I'm interested in the responses to this. I have the same problem ... although I start pushing my top pair hands more like this later in the SNGs.

Do not worry so much about this, especially early on in a tourney. If they do this repeatedly you can make a note of it and just pray you get a quality hand you would be willing to push on.

These people usually end up coming big stacks that you will be able to double up through later or extremely small (or out) stacks that you're going to be able to lean on and force out quickly.

Also, if where your bankroll supports it I suggest switching up to 5+.50 SNG tables because first there are less of these players, second the competition isn't much better (in fact, you may see yourself doing better) and finally the rake isn't a fourth of the buyin!!

Are you playing for credibility....recognition....glory.....bragging rights.....or are you playing for money. You simply have to take ego out of the equasion, mor ethan likely the rest of the table is not even noticing that you laid down your raise...all they saw is that someone went all-in and thet are wondering [i]if[ii] they had played thier hand two deals ago if they would have hit that runner-runner flush.

Don't give it a second thought, play your hand the corect way....make good laydowns and you will become a strong winning player. One or two hands do not define you as a man or a poker player...all that matters at the end of that SnG is if you placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If they start going all-in like crazy trying to push you and outher people out of pot....what more can you ask for? They will get lucky once in a while and take each other out, but they are also very easy to trap. In the end they will generally blow up thier stack when it gets down to 4 people.

what to do, you keep playing your game. Keep the aggression up if they're dumb enough to think this is a good strategy against you, then they are going to be out of the tournament quick when you make your standard raise with a premium holding and have the goods when they come over the top.

What I meant by credibility was maybe not clear but I meant that they will see me as weak and try to steal from me all the time which would give me only the options to wait for the really good cards or start gamble with them.

Forget the $2 SNGs. This guy is describing my HOME game with $20 buyins/rebuys. I had a guy push every hand (well, except for two) for an hour pre-flop. He got called 4 times and won all four times with hands like 93o vs AK. And he took me out too.

I can't wait to see him again this friday. I hope he brings plenty of money for re-buys.
