based on Fortune's feedback, you need a tighter, more consistent game. Playing freerolls probably won't help that happen.

Go back to the books, and based on what they say, make a chart for yourself that says what you'll play in what situations. I have one and it keeps my game consistent. When I feel I'm playing too much "by feel" or I lose a hand and realize I misplayed it, I go to the chart.

It says what hands I'll play preflop for ALL of the following situations:

Early postion, middle position, late position, against a single raise, against a raise and reraise, against multiple limpers and SB vs BB play.

And it tells me what to do (raise 3-5xbb, call, reraise or fold, fold fold)

Then I have another little part that reminds me what to look for facing a raise (or reraise) post flop. (no I won't sent it to you, lol)

But, if nothing else it will keep you from playing junk in any position at any time. And it will keep you from playing medeocre cards in early position or against a raise in front of you (even if you're on the blind). AND it will tell you that you have to raise, so you don't let people into the hand that have no business being there.
