Anyone read it i just got it in today so far ive read about 50 pages..Yeah i like poker but he seems to recommend looser play hands taht i woulddn't call in no limit...But yet he says play tight..
Such as j/9 s k/rag suited etc etc...
Also reraising with 10's and J's (lol completely stupid if u ask me)

Though i do agree with his hadns such as q/10 k/10 a/10 os not to play with a raise...


Whats ur opinions on this? He says play tight, this to me is loose aggressive...Maybe i just gotta read a bit more...

I haven't read it. I disagree with the Kxs play strongly. J9 I'll play in position with the right table. JJ and TT I will raise and sometimes reraise with. The reason being that you want to limit the field. If you can't read your opponents, this could be a bad call though...Gotta have some kind of idea on what they'll raise with to reraise - typically at the stakes I play, TT can beat many of the raised hands, and reraising will limit the field so that the chance of it holding up is much higher.

I have never read it, but if it is designed for low stakes he would be telling you to play a hand like K4s under the assumption you can limp with a table full of other limpers. Drawing hands like flush draws and straights go up in value when people will call down to the river and their is not a lot of aggressive raising. If you table is not like this, ie people will raise strongly and will not call down to the river, then his strategy would not apply.

Also, at the lowest stakes, players don't seem to know that they're supposed to bet the pot or so to get rid of the flush/straight chasers. This means that if you play the Kx hearts and get two more hearts on the flop, you may still perfectly good pot odds to continue. It's like a bonus for playing a hand you shoulda mucked.

Again, this does not sound like very sound advice in my opinion, but it may actually pay off at SOME tables.

Be wary of this starting hand.
