question
I keep varying my tactics because I'm in a bit of a typical beginners bind, I started playing B&M tables and could fairly consistantly win at home games 6-8 out of 10 anyways however when I started playing online my bankroll plummeted.. of course me just being a normal blue-collar joe is rather hard pressed to overcome this initial slam, and get back into my "It matters not becuase I'm all good" mindset...
I have in the past played a good game of hold-em generally just a straight game which I realize doesn't give me good odds for winning consistantly, when I hit my latest losing streak I clenched and started playing Ultra Tight which doesn't do anything for my play at all...
Recently I tried consistant 1/2 to FP raises almost regardless of what is in my hand (well not connectors or lows) pretty punch if I have one paint I generally start throwing half pot raises until I'm Heads up, then start launching the full pot or all in raises. so far this is working... I take some hits but most either fold out or call me up to the river.
If I totally obliterate someone , I generally try to limp in a few good hands, and not doing the raising and allowing someone else to control the game for a while so I can get off my poker high and get ready to play again...
Is this a good strategy for building my bank back up?
Please don't just answer yes or no...
Thanks
