Pre-flop Strategy Question

i have a question about the pre-flop strategies found on the flopturnriver.com site. when he is talking about hands that you should play that aren't a pair, is he talking only about suited hands? for instance, in group 3 KT's are listed. is that for KT suited? or should you play offsuit the same way?

Anywhere that you see KTs, that means King Ten suited.

King Ten offsuit will either be written as KTo or just KT. It's a group 5 in the strategy section on the front page.

Almost never should you play suited and unsuited cards the same way. (The closest thing to an exception I can think of is AK, but even then AKo is significantly weaker than AKs).
