Did I play this right?

Playing in a $1/$2 NL live cash game last night with a group I regularly play with who has me peggeg as a very tight player. I am dealt pocket 10's in middle position. Check around to the guy behind me, who likes to play a large range of hands (especially anything with a jack) who raises to $6. I call. The button, a very Loose-Aggresive player, also calls. Blinds fold so we are 3way.

Flop is 6-6-2 rainbow. First to act checks, I bet $10. Both players call.

Turn is a Jack. First player checks, I check, fearing his jack, and button also checks.

River is a Queen, no flush possible. First guy checks, I check, button checks.

First guy turns over K-J to win. Button mucks.

Should I have kept betting here to represent the better hand or did I play correctly?
