I just discovered one on one tourneys on paradise. Do any of you have any experience with these? The ones I've played so far have been real easy due to the very tight play of my opponents.

I like to start a lot of sessions with one to warm up and gauge how my play feels for the day.

Depending on the limit, these can be quite the joke... Ive played $5 and 10$ ones, the only way you can lose, is if the other guy gets pretty lucky.

I play HU daily, played as much as 200 HU. about a 70% win ratio...They are a good money maker however you can't too many of them in a row, the constant action burns you out.

I have been playing HU a lot lately. I like the low variance of returns compared to SnG's or MTT's. Since you play quite loose it can be a good way to learn more about post flop play. Just make sure the loose play of HU doesn't creap into you full table games. Could be a great way to add a bit of Lag to your style.

the 4 player HU tourneys on stars are good. i'm winning about two thirds of them, but don't try them if you can't put your full concentration into each match. |

I dig the 4 player HU matches much more than the normal 1 on 1. It alleviates some of the rake.

Hmm. Considering that I'm winning about 5 times more than I'm finishing 2nd in SnGs, these may be a good idea. |
