Do you think after betting in early position and then getting re-raised minumum ,and the turn comes that as long as I still have top pair as I did above I should bet out again? I usually check/fold the rest of the hand out of fear of higher pockets, two pair,or a set...Is this wrong thinking?

I can see your thinking. That said, it's a tad passive. It's very possible that he didn't have you beat and thought that capitalizing on the weakness you portrayed would win him the pot. I could go either way on it and would have to judge based on other info from the player to really make a call (did they try to bluff/steal other pots while you were playing?)

I might have re-raised him on that flop just to see where you really are.. If he has a monster he's either going to re-raise or push. Looks like he may have had TP, then caught a set on the river.
    <Ripptyde> I either steal.....have the nuts...or fold

I don't like it. The only time I'll check after being raised or reraised is if I know I have him beat - if they're a thinking player, they'll recognize the weakness and try to attack.
