Default Looking for help on moving up stakes

I am currently playing .10/.20 on RoyalVegasPoker and have built the free $10 to $217. I am looking to move up to .25/.50 soon. How much should I have in my bankroll to play at those stakes? I know rilla has commented on situations like these but I would like everyones suggestions. So the questions are:

    1. How much should I have in my bankroll to play in .25/.50 NL?

    2. How much do you suggest I should sit down with each time?

tdmlb24... I did the same thing.

One day after getting a bad beat to 9/4o after I raised it to a dollar (10x BB, .05/.10 game on RVP) and got called. Flop was all rags (OF COURSE, 9 and 4!) I raised, he re-raised, I pushed (I'm holding AA) and he calls.

I decided that although I was in large part crushing .05/.10 that I needed to get out of it to have an even more profitable and solid game.

If you're doing fine in .10/.20, you'll be fine in .25/.50. ESPECIALLY with $200+. Feel free to look me up, "Admerylous".

You have to watch out though, AXERS are still all around.

Just play tight with your hand selection and you will profit. Don't be afraid to rep. the flop and cut loose if things get hairy.

Thanks a lot for the advice and we'll have to play some time
