Default playing raked hands for bonuses

I have only been playing SnG's at party poker for a couple months, and never used a bonus code when making a deposit.
Most of them require you to play 5x number of raked hands, where x is the amount of your bonus. Since i never play ring games this has not lured me in but now I am starting to think about it. My question is, what does it mean when they say "play this amount of raked hands"?

Does it mean that if I fold preflop without a blind, does that count as "playing the hand?"
Now say I post blind, and fold to a raise preflop, does that count as playing a raked hand (provided the other players eventually go on and bet enough in that hand to bring out the rake)?
Do you have to see that damn thing all the way through to the river?

I guess I just want clarification on what it means to "play" a raked hand.

    Thanks!

playing a raked hand just means a hand where you are dealt cards and the pot gets big enough to be raked. You do not have to actually put any money in the pot yourself.

Awesome. That's what I was hoping. So playing tight on a short handed table would be what I should go for.
    Thanks for the info.

MOST sites don't require that you put money in the pot yourself. I've seen ones that do. Party Poker does not.

Careful...some sites do require that you have money in the pot. Make sure you find out first.

If your looking to make some bonus cash be sure to post your questions in the online poker room forum.

Chances are someone here has already tried/cleared that bonus, if not we could probably tell you how hard/easy it is to clear the bonus.

Example : monday, I had a $40 bonus to clear on a party skin. I needed to play 200 raked hands. I managed to plow through those hands in about 1 hour 15 minutes running 4 tables, full 10 players. I broke even for the hour and walked away +40.

If I was thinking about the fact that I couldn't withdraw for 2 days, I would have taken my time and played a bit smarter and probably could have been better off.

prima poker networks require that you see a flop AND it was raked. (i know because this will be my second time bonus whoring one of their skins)

every other site i'm pretty sure you just gotta be dealt a hand.

Hypermagachi is correct....I think Absolute Poker is the same way. You have to be involved in the hand (see the flop) for the money to count towards your raked hands. Most other sites just require you to be active at the table (not sitting out)
