Default I need to adjust my strategy

Holy Cow!! I joined Pacific poker last night to clear a bonus and get a free chip set. I played some 2/4 and 3/6 there was not one table with a preflop seen percentage less than 50% (10 seats). What do you do when you have that many people seeing every flop? There was not that much preflop raising. I was trying to play weak/tight for the most part and trying to make sure I had position in most pots I played. I did OK winning about $80 in 3 hrs of play, but boy your variance can go thru the roof when everyone is seeing most flops. What other things should I be trying with tables like this?

hey dude, I've played there before I hated it 1 table only

The games are incredibly soft, with so many people seeing the flop and not much raiseing you can limp in with a lot more drawing hands (76s axs etc) AA / KK / AK will lose more often, they are worth raiseing pf still but don't enter a rasing war if 5 people have seen the flop. Avoid chasing straights on flush boards with so many people, someones probably chasing the flush, its no fun to hit your straight on the turn and someone re-draw and beat you with a flush on the river.

As for the bonus, be careful I played for ages to discover I had release around $1, they don't clear as fast as the regular sites and you may be stuck there for weeks!

If you get to bored you can run two sites at once, thats why i did in the end until I got bored and dumped Pacific without the recieving the bonus. They are soft though and I must admit I'm tempted to play there again to enter some saterlite tourneys for a game in london coming up (Limit 6max).

I agree it is not the best of sites, and did exactly as you said, playing two sites same time. To clear the bonus now, you need to have wagered 20 times the bonus amount ($100) so I need to wager $2000. I cant find on the site where it keeps track of this. I only needed to play 50 hands to get the free chips set, though. So there is a good chance I will leave before clearing any bonus, unless I get a good rush, and am making good money. It also sucks that it doesn't have a way to get info into PT.

I consider whether I join Pacificpoker (25% deposit bonus) or Empirepoker (20%).

Both are max 100$ Bonus... I'm about to deposit so much that i recieve the maximum Bonus. EP 500$ or PP 400$

    What would you recommend?

(btw sorry for my bad english )

I was trying to remember what the other thing that uber sucked about the site was. The only way to get HHs would be to write them down on a peice of paper lol

hmm, i might re-sign in a few months time to claim the free chip set

Join the Empire. The bonus is much easier to clear. Toasty, You get the chip sets by going thru another affiliate site, so since you already joined I dont know if you could get it. Bummer
