Yes, as long as the limits are high enough, professional poker players do this all the time.

Ok, I guess I meant YOU (personally)...can you yourself beat the rake. I know professionals do it all the time, but they typically aren't raked as "hard" at higher limits. (I sure as hell can't beat a 10-15% rake on a good day, let alone those bad days.)

Also, I know "it depends on the limit, etc. etc." Just try to take the question in the context of your "normal" game.

If the rake is 10% or higher in LLHE games then you would have to be playing against awful players to beat the rake. It can be done but the game has to be soft.

Personally I wouldn't bother, I may play for fun, but it wouldn't be something i'd look to be doing full time.
