For context... poop requires hard proof that allowing foreigners to fish territorial waters at the expense of locals has a negative impact on the local economy. Fishermen complaining is insufficient proof.

He also sympathises with these "stupid" British fishermen who he clearly deems incapable of making democratic decisions.

He's concerned that he might lose £1k a year in income, so fuck a town with 80k people, and all the other fishing communities in the UK suffering thanks to EU quotas.

Oh yeah, allowing the Dutch to fish these waters instead of British fishermen is all about sustainability.
