Ofc, I tend to believe the first duty of a villager is to keep the other villagers from lynching him while also keeping the wolves from nomming him. If enough villagers can stop their own deaths, the remainder is a wolfy one

Even though Gator has done that before, it was a long ass time ago, and most recent memory was of him with that major fake. I think most of us would have considered switching off him

I mean, the brilliance of it was that a wolf should never die the way Gator was about to, largely because a fellow wolf would be on his wagon and could switch. But that fellow wolf (Luco) didn't switch, which made a potential Gator death brilliant. Not to mention that JKDS was still on Jyms at the time and could have done something but didn't.

So basically, the whole Gator thing put him on the edge and let the only people to pull him off be villagers, so when he did get pulled off, it looked super legit

Gator really is matrix with this stuff. I've seen him do what you did as a wolf too. Problem is he got seer'd when he did that. He is the Chosen Wolf

Yeah I was n5 angel, I was trying to play sick but I was failing to actually do what's important - soulread wolves. My worst game ever for sure, owned by two wolves. Nothing was stopping those two from winning.

Just got to the end of the dead thread. You looked up JKDS. Nice work. Shame I didn't get protected, I was convinced I was going and would easily have self protected had I been n4. I thought drew was actually going to randomise, I thought hoopy if villager would try to outguess the wolves, and he seemed to recognise I'm a villager.

God damn this game was actually really fucking close. It was decided by the successful nom. Had angel saved I think we win, I honestly think that now. JKDS gets confirmed as wolf, bigred and dan confirmed villagers, hoopy looks fucking amazing and will be more confident and assertive, luco would be easy meat, it would basically come down to gator vs me, but with the save we'd have room for a mislynch.

But we'd go into today with 7 of us, JKDS gets lynched, so it's 4 vs 2 going into night and I'm now an active angel. I suppose I have a 50-50 bink between hoopy and rong, but then again maybe you anticipate that's a n5 angel's options and simply pick off drew.

If I save, we have an easy win. If not, then probably luco dies, and there's no more angels because n6.

Final day is 2 vs 1 - me, gator and one of drew or hoopy. I think gator loses because of the post he made that keith highlighted in the dead thread. Luco would have flipped wolf by now, and I'd have found it with that information in mind, I'm always reading the all of the remaining players' posts on final day.

Yeah I think we win if angel saves last night, it's ridiculously close all of a sudden. But it's definitely fair to say wolves deserved to win this, we had no fucking idea as a collective what was going on. But JKDS flipping wolf changes everything.

wp wolves but I think the critical thing in this game was that all the village actions were concentrated nights 3,4,5 so that just by noms and lynches village were working blind with no information getting revealed to work off and losing half of their possible lookups and saves because villagers had to die before they got to act.

Yeah the only thing he did that I expected from wolf JKDS was claim self protecting angel, but that's entirely what he does as villager too. There were plays he didn't make that I anticipated he'd make if wolf.

This is easily my worst game, I didn't soulread a single wolf. I only had luco as one through process of elimination, I thought he was a villager too until he became less of a villager read than the others.

I've no problem with my early strategy. If I'm reading the wolves better that shit is powerful.

That's up to you. If this game was reflective of every game then it wouldn't surprise me if I did get policy lynched on d1 every game. Thankfully that's not the case, otherwise I wouldn't bother playing. I've got nothing to prove to anyone, my status as a decent villager is firmly secured. I can have bad games of course, but usually I'm much stronger than I have showed here. Winning is not my priority, this is not a sport.

I should point out keith that my play is not entirely selfish. Ask wuf what my #1 priority was for my d1 play. I would've been pretty happy had I got nommed. My mistake was the players I targetted, not my action. I played like shit, but only because I wasn't reading the game very well. My strategy was sound, it just had the potential to backfire, which it did. I can deal with that.
