Question [10NL] Flopped Trips vs Fish; Check Raised OTT

    $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Holdem
    PokerStars
    4 Players
    Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    DoubleJ (CO) ($10.04) 100bb
    BTN ($10.05) 101bb
    SB ($10.05) 101bb
    BB ($25.07) 251bb - VPIP:61, PFR:4, 3B:2, AF:2.4, FcB:47, DonkFlop:32, Hands:123

    Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 4 players) DoubleJ is CO
DoubleJ raises to $0.30, 2 folds, BB calls $0.20

BTN is tight, Blinds are both Fishy. I'm raising here to get into it w/ either or both.

I have been ISOing BB a lot this sesh LDO. His PF range is huge. He is deepstacked coz he just caught someone with the old open-limp/re-raise w/ AA, so he is clearly a tough and wily opponent.

    not.

    Flop: ($0.65, 2 players)
BB checks, DoubleJ bets $0.50, BB calls $0.50

I flop Trips/GK, and he check/calls. He could easily slow-pay AT here, but his donk stat is 32, so should i expect a lead or check/raise w/ Trips or TP on a 2Tone board?

If so that leaves 22-QQ, AT, FDs and mebbe 1 combo each of KK+ (see above)

    Turn: ($1.65, 2 players)
BB checks, DoubleJ bets $1.30, BB raises to $2.60, DoubleJ ???

and now he CIBs. Can i put him on anything other than boats/flushes?

You're getting more than 4:1 on your call here, if I'm not mistaken.

I would call, but not loving it by any means. If he's fishy he can def have worse Tx.

I call too based on the implied odds that if we river a boat or quads we take considerable additional money if not the rest of his stack, but I assume we are beat most of the time ott and we will likely have to fold the river.

I find that the 60/4 types have a tendency to get real trigger happy when they hit big so I'd def be calling but get the fuck out the way of a big bet. Could def be doing this with worse tx or even ax but just be prepared to let it go if you don't boat and face a big river bet.

    Thx guys

so in yer opinion(s) is his Flop c/c consistent with having Ax or Tx?

am i wrong to exclude these from his Turn range?

I'd guess his range bottoms out at A2s, but I don't think he plays it the same every time. But def have a couple of Ax in there to take into account the times that his ax does play back. As for how many I guess it comes down to your opinion of the villain. Def have some tx too, but again how many is down to your opinion.

That's possibly the least helpful post I'll make this week.

This type loves to be the trappy-chappy, as evidenced by his AA limp/rr. So yes, Tx's def. in his range I would say.

edit: although not so sure after the min raise on the flush board

Well the river is going to be very easy to play so i guess it's a question of whether you have the correct direct or implied odds to call.
