Default Hyper Turbo HUSNG Hand Reviews

Basically I'm just going to post loads of hands in this thread (others feel welcome too) with explanations as to why I did the things that I did, and ask about anything I'm not sure by.

Feel free to point out all the stupid mistakes I am making.

    Stacks:
    BTN Player2 (480) 24bb
    BB ImSavy (520) 26bb

    Blinds: 10/20

    Pre-Flop: (30, 2 players) ImSavy is BB
    Player2 raises to 40, ImSavy calls 20

0 reads, Q8s is clearly going to be in my calling range.
    Flop: (80, 2 players)
    ImSavy checks, Player2 checks

I think this flop hits the average opening range pretty well. I think I check with the intention of folding to a cbet, as I don't have a huge amount of outs, there are plenty of possible draws and hands that have me well beat.
    Turn: (80, 2 players)
    ImSavy checks, Player2 checks

    River: (80, 2 players)
    ImSavy checks, Player2 checks

Last two streets I've continued with my strategy of giving up on the pot, I have a tiny bit of showdown value with my Q high, and I don't think I'm folding out anywhere near enough of anyones range to take down such a small pot.

    Stacks:
    BTN ImSavy (480) 24bb
    BB Player1 (520) 26bb

    Blinds: 10/20

    Pre-Flop: (30, 2 players) ImSavy is BTN
    ImSavy raises to 40, Player1 calls 20

    Flop: (80, 2 players)
    Player1 checks, ImSavy bets 60, Player1 calls 60

King High flush draw, with a likely overcard against the majority of villains range. If Villain reraises I'm not 100% how happy I should be to shove over the top. When villain calls I put him on a pair, a flush draw or a straight draw of some form
    Turn: (200, 2 players)
    Player1 checks, ImSavy bets 80, Player1 calls 80

Bet sizing is a bit strange here, I was trying to set up a shove on the river if I hit. At this point I don't think I feel comfortable calling a shove if Villain shoves.
    River: (360, 2 players)
    Player1 checks, ImSavy checks

At this point I think Villains range has me beat, there are a lot of Ax in villains range and him c/c every street so far seems fairly strong. So I check behind as I have some showdown value

hand1 ....i'd bet the turn , we have probably 6 outs (A and 9) Q could also be good, repping the flush so he could fold any of his pairs and barrelling non spade rivers

hand2 ..I check behind on the turn and take the free card. What you going to do if he raises the turn . He called the flop so isn't afraid of the A and we can keep the pot small. If we do hit the diamond on the river and have checked the turn , he's likely to bet to get value from his Ax hands and we can shove over

I like the turn barrel but I would make it bigger.

Hand 1, I bet turn, we can expect villian to fold a ton and villian even in first hand should be always nearly cbetting this flop readless with his value and all air. When he simply checks behind, he rarely; if ever has anything.

Hand 2; You bet to much on the flop; half pot is perfect and we have likely the best hand with the nut flush draw extra equity + over card. If villian re-raise, we have no alternative but to get the chips in and should be quite happy about it.

We pick up even more equity on the turn, double barrel is fine. I think checking back the river is ok; he's not likely calling of worse hands now in this spot, he folds all his draws and 9x/8s hands.

The reason I bet slightly bigger than half pot is because at this level villains don't differentiate between bet sizes so when I bet for value I make it slightly bigger because there's no point missing out on extra value.

I'm aware that this isn't something I can do if I play the same person a lot.
