Superbowl Squares Competition (FREE LEAGUE)

To add a fun sweat to the Superbowl on Feb 3rd, we're running a free to enter Superbowl Squares competition! To enter, just post in this thread. You'll only get one entry however many times you post though

We'll then randomize everything (with the help of some volunteers) and everyone will be allocated a number from each team, between 0 and 9. e.g. if you have (taking last year as an example, if you had Giants = 1 and Patriots = 7, you'd win as the final score was 21 - 17 to the Giants). The winner will get $25 in cash, enough for a few extra beers on Superbowl Sunday!

There are 100 squares, so make sure you get your post in early to guarantee yourself a square!


T&C: We reserve the right to alter this competition at any time. One entry per person only, no multi-accounting please. All final decisions will be taken by the admin team. If there are any squares left, they will be randomly distributed between the posters. Entry closes at midnight ET on February 1st. American members will get their cash via Paypal or Amazon gift voucher, everyone else by Pokerstars. FTR takes no liability for private side bets made. You must have at least 5 quality posts to enter this competition - the admin team reserve the right to make this judgement.

@rong: Mat McBriar was an Australian rugby player, and now he's more-or-less an American football player. Not a well-known example, but whatever.

Looking through it, I think Gary Anderson is the best-known player to make a legit switch from rugby/soccer to football.

The only person who isn't a punter/place kicker that I really heard of was Haloti Ngata (one of the best Defensive Tackles in football). From what I can tell, though, he just played some high school rugby in Salt Lake City, Utah, which doesn't exactly qualify for wowing me.
