This is the last of the Poker Maximus III series of events.

I will be playing event 34 today. I will be out there as eberetta4. This is my third time at an $11 event, and the first two did not work out well for me. This tournament suits me well as there are long levels, 20 minutes, and more than 1500 chips, so I can play a patient game. The only detriment is the 3 hour late registration. Most tourneys I am in involved in last three to five hours. I am usually not patient enough for these eight hour tourneys.

Event 34, did not money. 1800+ players, 200 + paid. I placed in the top 300. Coulda sat out with my 19,000 chips and probably monied but shoved all in AK with 3 players ahead of me. Only one player called me, but their KK took me out. 4 hrs 45 minutes shot.

Got my $11 entry fee back by entering a $5 entry $100 GTD tourney and placed 3rd to win $20. Sometimes a $100 GTD pays back more than these huge GTD tourneys, so do not overlook them. Keep them in your radar.

I played event #34 and just didn't see any hands at all... sigh. I managed to hold on, stealing a few pots here and there... I busted in 600ish (I believe) all I know is I opened for like 2.5x with AKspades and there was a flat call by a player in mid position and then it was 3bet by the guy on the button. I 4bet all-in and was called by 88. I couldn't even get a "sweat" out of the hand. The board bricked out and my tournament was over...

I hear you waterboy. It is like the higher the buyin, the deader the cards.
