If you're just starting, you should definitely take a look into the Digest for a lot of strategy and information.

I personally don't have loads of LHE experience, but you don't necessarily have to be mega tight, though you may have to alter your starting hand selection a bit. From what I've experience, you almost have to play a bit looser because you're often getting odds to chase draws, and 6-max will be looser than full ring, of course.

What % of starting hands should you look at? In a full ring game, I'm usually around 20%.

Get a starting hand chart, use poker tracking software, review your own hands, post hands you have trouble with (common spots) , play at stakes where the money doest matter to you in real life. and have the proper Bank roll for the limit you are playing at. No one is going to make a massive fortune playing micro stakes limit it just both a fun and a good way to learn IMO.
Use the starting hand chart till you feel a little better about your pre flop play. and eventually you wont have to use it any more. but starting out having some guidelines is something that you might find useful. Also download Pokerstove and mess around with it a bit and use it in your own session reviews.

I think20% is fine in FR LHE so long as the EP% is much lower than the late position % and you are raising PF about 13-16%

    This.

Also never ever slow play hands. That works in NL but in Limit you need to ram and jam as soon as you have a hand.

    Also sup bro/bona.

Post flop play is decidedly "not" tight. To make money at the microstakes you need to understand some pretty far out concepts, and really capitalize on them

Such as the fact that You can sometimes peel the turn to try to set-hunt, or that a backdoor runner runner flush draw is something you HAVE to take into account when counting your outs.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

I got my start at micro stakes LHE with $10 that was donated to me on stars. I turned that into over $1000 before I stopped playing, and cashed most out. I then rebuilt my BR to over $100 and started playing the micro tourneys. It can be done.

Having said that, super tight is not the way to play. The odds are too good when sitting in certain positions to just fold marginal hands. I recommend SSH by Skalansky. It has most of the strategies and tactics you'll need to beat the micro stakes. It starts falling apart when you get to the higher limits (like 2-4, 3-6) but it will be good up to 1-2, which is where I made most of my money (with RB, back before UIGEA).

The higher limits it was far more regs playing and SSH teaches you how to capitalize on the fish, so it helps more when playing at a table of fish.

In micro stakes LHE, especially the low low stakes like .01/.02, basically it is very hard to get players to fold. Therefore, you should play straightforward poker. Play good starting hands but you can also play suited connectors and even suited 1 or 2 gappers (better in late position) because it's so cheap to see the flop.

Aggression means money, the more aggro u play, the more money u earn, of course, it has to be sensible aggression, and start with fullring tables, 6-max is even more aggro.

I just started playing, myself. I thought Why You Suck at Limit Holdem was really good in the "Digest." I'd link it but the program won't let me.
