Default FTP edge - the new rewards program

    The Full Tilt Edge

Gain the Full Tilt Edge by achieving an Edge status level and claiming your share of the rewards. All Edge players can register for exclusive daily tournaments, with weekly freerolls open only to Bronze status players. Players achieving Silver status or higher can earn Edge Rewards cash payments, while Diamond status players also gain access to the restricted Diamond Edge Store.
    How it Works

To gain your Edge and earn player rewards, you need to reach one of the five status levels. The status you reach is based on the average number of Full Tilt Points you accumulate over time – the more points earned, the higher your status.
Every Edge status level is based on a rolling average of Full Tilt Points earned per day, so if you play regularly but each session is relatively short, you move up the levels just as easily as someone who plays less often but whose sessions are longer:

    Edge Status Requirements

Status Level 7-day Rolling Average (FTPs) 30-day Rolling Average (FTPs) 100-day Rolling Average (FTPs)
    Bronze 10 - -
    Silver 50 35 25
    Gold 100 75 50
    Platinum - 150 100
    Diamond - 350 250

For example, the quickest way to reach Silver status is to maintain a 7-day rolling average of 50 points per day. If you play less often, you can maintain a 30-day rolling average of 35 points per day, or a 100-day rolling average of 25 points per day, and still achieve Silver status.
To reach the top of the ladder and earn Diamond status, you need to achieve a 30-day rolling average of 350 points per day or a 100-day rolling average of 250 points per day.
Turn on the Edge Status Lobby Widget in Standard View or Mini View of the Full Tilt Poker game lobby to track your progress while playing. Learn more about the Edge Status Lobby Widget
    Your Rewards

Once you have gained an Edge by reaching Bronze status or higher, you become eligible to register for the daily multi-table tournaments that are open only to Edge status holders. The starting time for each tournament will alternate from day to day, allowing you to take part in whichever tournament interests you the most, no matter what your time zone:
    • Daily at either 15:05 ET or 21:05 ET, 25 Full Tilt Point buy-in – prize pool consists of Tournament Dollars (T$) with a total value of $500
    • Daily at either 15:05 ET or 21:05 ET, 25 Full Tilt Point buy-in – prize pool consists of Ring Game Tickets with a total value of $500
Furthermore, Bronze status players can register for two exclusive freeroll tournaments taking place each Sunday. Similarly to the daily Edge tournaments, the starting time for each tournament will alternate from week to week:
    • Sundays at either 09:45 ET or 17:45 ET, Bronze Status Freeroll – prize pool consists of Tournament Dollars (T$) with a total value of $1,000
    • Sundays at either 09:45 ET or 17:45 ET, Bronze Status Freeroll – prize pool consists of Ring Game Tickets with a total value of $1,000
    Weekly Cash Payments

Achieve Silver status or higher to earn Edge Rewards cash payments as you play real-money games and accumulate Full Tilt Points. The higher your status, the more you earn:

    Edge Rewards Rates

    Status LevelEdge Rewards rate
Silver$1.00 awarded per 100 Full Tilt Points earned
Gold$1.50 awarded per 100 Full Tilt Points earned
Platinum$2.00 awarded per 100 Full Tilt Points earned
Diamond$2.50 awarded per 100 Full Tilt Points earned

Your Edge Rewards will be paid directly into your account once per week.
If you move between status levels during the qualifying period, your Edge Reward may be calculated based on different rates. If you drop below the Silver status requirements during this period, you will still be entitled to any Edge Reward earned beforehand.
To monitor the balance of your next Edge Reward, display the Edge Reward Counter Lobby Widget in Standard View or Mini View of the Full Tilt Poker game lobby. Learn more about the Edge Reward Counter Lobby Widget
In addition to your Edge Reward, you also get to keep all of the points you have earned, which can be used to purchase Ring Game Tickets and Tournament Tickets in the Full Tilt Store. If you spend points during the qualifying period, it will not affect the subsequent size of your Edge Reward.
    Diamond Edge Store

As soon as you earn Diamond status, you will enjoy exclusive access to the private Diamond Edge Store, in which you can exchange your Full Tilt Points for Diamond Edge cash bonuses. All Edge players can browse the store, but only Diamond status players can make purchases.
    Maintaining Your Status

Once you’ve reached an Edge status level, you can hold on to your status by maintaining any of the valid rolling points averages. For example, Platinum players need either a 30-day average of 150 points or a 100-day average of 100 points to maintain their status.
Should you fail to maintain the points averages required for Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond status, you will drop to a lower status level, or lose your Edge if you can’t reach Bronze status.

Thanks for posting. Seems a decent system and should allow most serious players to achieve entry into one of the freerolls.

This seems different then any other poker sites rewards system that I have ever played on. I think it will be a good rewards system but I still like Pokerstars system the best.

Why do you like Stars system better?

Also, pretty sure I'm getting like 60% rakeback for the next 2 months through Mid Year then Deal Me In bonus

I think he was referring the 'sans bonus' rewards system, I have also heard that Pokerstars system is better value. But with the current deal me in bonus at FT it obviously crushes what you'd be getting normally at Pokerstars (same thing goes for pretty much any bonus deal)

I wonder if there will be a massive drop off in traffic once the 'deal me in bonus' dries up and everyone moves back to Pokerstars. Should be interesting to see if that happens.

Not sure if this in the above, but points earned from playing with ring game tickets do earn edge rewards.

The main thing depends on what level it's possible to get playing 5NL/10NL - if it's possible to get Platinum or Diamond it'll be worth playing rather than Stars. For 25NL grinders who I imagine will get Diamond easily but won't be able to get Supernova it's probably better value too. 50NL+ where Supernova is common, FTP just won't be competitive unless they have constant reload bonuses I guess.
