Default FR turned a FD on K hi flop , Cbet called on flop.

villian 18/9 AF 1 , so pretty passive concerning agression. 120 hands

my question is basically if i bet the turn can i barrel the river? besides the obvious cards that improve my hand to the nuts and would i bet a rivered ofsuit ace?

what hands do you think call the turn and fold the river? (assuming it isn't a spade)

i'm expecting all Tx and weaker Kx to fold the river. I got a pretty image at the table and the guy is a regfish like me so i kind of suppose he is watching the table and not making a massive herocall after a third barrel on a non spade. an ofsuit J would scare me cuz i put some JT KJ hands in range. I expect him to fold AT QT T9 maybe some weirdly played PP like 88 99 that can't stand the action.

he is never folding Kx, Tx on a non-spade river once he called the turn. so if you dont hit the river, c/f all but A river which i would c/c depening on bet size.

Why would you c/c an A river when you block the nut flush draw vs a passive player who's very unlikely to bluff or even have a hand he can bluff with. You hoping he turns Kx into a bluff?

Just go ahead and b/f an A river and don't make it too big since yoiu're trying to get value from a pretty weak range. I wouldn't bluff non spade rivers without some kind of read this guy never goes to showdown/is a scared nit. Passives at 5NL tend to be a little stationy when draws brick so I doubt we have much FE on blanks after he calls the turn.

    I'd bet the turn bigger.

like you sai he has a weak range ,we think, so i dont see too many hands that call a A river so i would c/c for a couple of reasons:

    1. let him try to bluff his Kx like you said
    2. i want to see his hand to get some info on what his BTN range and what he calls 2 streets on that board, cause OP gave no notes so i am interested to see what he calls on a 3 flush board.
