    Default 99 in 3bet pot

BU is 22/11 over 27 hands, no relevant history except that he called some villains shove preflop with KK. BB is 34/3 over 31 hand, fish that floats flop a lot. Open limped A2 from UTG once, called raise pre and two barrels on AAKx flop, and when checked on river he bet really small (like 0.40$). Also chases draws.

I 3bet preflop to prevent BB from calling and go headsup with taggish BU. Didn't work. What do you think of my flop and turn bet sizing? Give up turn/river if villain calls/raises turn bet?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    BB ($14.56)
    UTG ($10.15)
    MP ($10)
    CO ($26.94)
    Button ($17.64)
    Hero (SB) ($12.48)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9
3 folds, Button bets $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, BB calls $0.80, Button calls $0.60

    Flop: ($2.70) 7, 6, 2 (3 players)
Hero bets $1.90, BB calls $1.90, 1 fold

    Turn: ($6.50) K (2 players)
    Hero bets $3.60 ...

bet flop bigger, closer to pot size (2.5 or so), turn k is a good card to cbet barrel, since it doesnt help any draws, and doesnt hit his range very hard. river will probably be another bullet, unless it completes a lot of draws. if opp raises turn or river, sigh and fold.

oh, and your turn sizing is bad, bet closer to 3/4ths pot, or maybe a little bigger, given reads that he likes to chase draws. give him the opportunity to make the most profitable mistake as possible (stolen from sklansky nlhe theory & practice, because i like the idea)

also, imho, 22/11 is not tag. its opp who likes to play implied odds hands ip vs preflop openers, which means he has some positional awareness. 3bet can probably be bigger here, like 1.2

all that said, i will bow out now and allow better poker players than I to comment
