Default 10NL FR: TT facing donk bet on Qhigh monotone flop

    First HH post.

Villain is 0/0 over 5 hands so I completely have no idea how this guy plays.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG+1 ($12.70)
    MP1 ($13.05)
    MP2 ($10.59)
    CO ($12.48)
    Button ($6.77)
    SB ($10)
    BB ($10)
    Hero (UTG) ($14.66)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 10, 10
Hero bets $0.30, 5 folds, SB calls $0.25, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.70) 9, Q, 7 (2 players)
    SB bets $0.55, Hero ???

I am putting him on made flushes, sets, AQ, KQ, TP+FD combos, KJs, JTs, T8s, and A high FDs which makes me 65/35 dog. To be liberal about it I'm throwing in K high FDs and Td9x but stove still says I'm still a 60/40 dog.

Is my range estimation just about right? And is raise-bluffing this board Ok? Call for SDV? Just fold?

Just fold, all draws are going to have decent equity vs our hand. We're going to hate most turns + rivers and our hand can't stand multiple barrels.

Range estimation is pretty good, but I'd probably throw out some KJs and T8s combos since villain would be less likely to call those hands OOP against an UTG open as opposed to IP.

I wouldn't raise an unknown in this spot since he shouldn't have a lot of pure air in this spot so he's most likely donking for value or hands w/ good equity that is unlikely fold.

Do you believe, while thinking about metagame, that he would bet made hands into him? I don't know the complete metagame for these stakes.

There are sooooooooo many players playing 10nl on Stars that you shouldn't be concerned about too many metagame ideas.

Edit: or at least there were when I was on stars pre-black Friday.

The better you become the more often you can call here and play the turn/river in position. Your opponent will tend to play quite poorly OOP on a lot of turns/rivers with the hands he's leading on this flop.

You mean flatting flop then raising turn to represent a flush? Or if a diamond falls on the turn and the villain checks, then bet? Are these probable examples you're talking about?

I've been thinking about these plays regarding this hand and am just wondering if these are good plays. Or are these moves just spew?

The problem is I don't know if I'm good enough to make these plays.

There is just so much information you'll gain on each turn card. From your opponent's decision to bet or check, to their timing to do so, along with their subsequent bet-sizing on certain cards, you can gain a tight grasp on their range at that point and play close to perfectly against it.
