r u really gonna free some money ?? have u looked at the example ??

    Examples:
On March 7 you deposit $200 using the code ‘HOMEGAMES’. That means you’ll get $50 (25% of $200) of pending bonus, and you’ll have until April 5 to earn the 1,000 VPPs (20 x 50) required to release the entire bonus.

On March 14 you deposit €300 using the code ‘HOMEGAMES’. You’ll receive €75 of pending bonus, and you have until April 12 to earn 2,025 VPPs to release the full bonus. During the 30-day clearance period you manage to earn 1,218 VPPs, releasing €40 of your total pending bonus.
I think that if you have the ability to get that manny vpp`s playing breakeven you should be able make money without the reload bonus. I mean it`s a whole lot of volume, as mst of us know the dangers of that If you have to lose your 600 to free your 125,- .............

    Gl to all
Strange how I KNOW I CAN win money but still doesn`t seem to be able to actually WIN money.

@10nl I average 1vpp per 20hands which means I'd need to play 20k hands to get the bonus. That's nothing for your average grinder.

    FYI - From PS Support:

    >Hello -
    >Please tell me how or if the current VIP Stellar Rewards program for microstakes will be affected by the HomeGame reload bonus. Would the VPP's I earn count toward both the Stellar Rewards and clearing the reload bonus? Sorry if I missed it, but I did not see this addressed in the FAQ.
    ---------------------------------------
    Thank you for your email.

Please note that the Stellar Rewards program is not affected by other promotions.

To give our players the chance to fully explore the world of Home Games, we are offering this exclusive reload bonus for 2 weeks only!

+1 Even though it's more than I've ever played in a month, but so what if you don't get the whole bonus. It's not an all or nothing proposition.

are there any mathematically inclined gamblors out there who can tell me if the effective rakeback of this bonus (plus untouched stellar bonuses, iirc the first two $10 ones are easy as hell to clear) is going to be higher than the 27% i get at full tilt? if it matters, i typically 7-table 25nl full ring for proably 1.5hrs/day on average. probably an easy question, i'm pretty tarded at maths and so need to have my hand held to solve basically any unfamiliar situations.

I'm far from a math wiz but I'm pretty sure you should be doing better on stars without the added bonus. I don't have time right now, but maybe someone can figure out their rakeback at stars at that level, mine would only be for 10nl anyway.

Also depends on style. If you are a full ring nit, you do better on Stars rakeback-wise because they are still on the "dealt" method of rakeback calculation, whereas Full Tilt is now "contributed". "Dealt" favors people who play few hands and put little money in the pots whereas "contributed" favors looser players.

It looks like it may be some trouble just to Deposit money on PokerStars. I wonder how difficult it will be to withdraw in the future.

I live in Tennessee and this is the info from the PS Cashier when I tried to deposit via eCheck, which has worked twice for me in the past.

The next option I tried was VISA.

The 3rd option is a Cashier's Check/Money Order. * It's interesting to note that, just a few days ago, the info said that check's must be negotiable in Singapore (kinda scary). Now, it's been changed to Canada and/or the UK.

6 vpp for dollar paid in rake (dealt)
    200 vpp = 10$
    150$ = 3000 vpp
paying 500 in rake to return 150 = 30% rb equivilant. + all the regular benefits.
edit: so for those 3000 vpp you get
    150 bonus
    40 stellar (first 4 10$ bonuses)
4125+ (assumes bronze star) fpp which is worth ~50-60$

altogether 240-250$ for paying 500$ so lets call it 50% rb.

Going to be a better rb % if you play 10nl or lower since you get more vpp/$rake there.

@ playtowin, that really sucks. How are fish going to deposit

I am from Belgium and it was a breeze to deposit on Pokerstars. I just used my ATM card. Could have used a normal local bank transfer as well, although it would have taken a couple of days. It's true however that my credit cards (both my Belgian Visa and my American Mastercard) cannot be used to deposit on Poker sites, and Paypal is not an option.

    Not sure about withdrawing.

I am much confused by this. Currently I'm getting $10 per 750 vpps. In total for the year I've paid $180 in rake and have gotten back $45 in bonuses which is 25% rake back. This is at both 5nl and 10nl.

Am I doing something completely wrong or missing some kind of bonus somewhere?

you can turn you FPP into money also, 25$ for 2500 FPP, 50$ for 4500 FPP and so on... go VIP STORE>>>VIP REWARDS and at the bottom you will see them. this is besides VPP milestone rewards.
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

Hey supahaole - I think this is gonna be harder than you (or I) thought. Check my math.

First of all, the bonus is cleared by earning vpp's, not fpp's. At the Bronze Star level, 1 VPP = 1 fpp. At Silver Star, 1 VPP = 1.5 fpp. So, no matter what your level is, you'll still earn VPP's as if you were a Bronze Star. There is no multiplier for VPP's.

PS says the bonus is cleared at 20 VPPs per $1. So to get the max. bonus of $150, you'll need to win (20 x 150) 3000 VPP's. So if you earn 1 VPP/20 hands, you'll have to play (3000 x 20) 60,000 hands in the 30 days!

For me, 20K hands/mos is very doable, but that would only earn me a $50 bonus. I dunno if it's worth the trouble. Maybe.

Yeah no more e-checks. Fuck you US govt. Fuck you George Bush. Fuck you UIGEA. I can surely go piss my money down the toilet with bingo and fucking scratch offs but I can't deposit $ on Stars. Regulate the shit or gtfo. Just snail mailed a money order for $600 from my Cake withdrawal to god damn Isle of Wherever because you cock suckers thought it was cute to pass some bullshit law in the middle of the night. Must have gotten tired of haggling over oil in the middle east, so you said fuck it, today we're going to piss off the American poker player. JFC. /rant
