Is it big enough on the HP? While not as obnoxious and annoying as on 2p2, at least you have the option to close it while lurking the page. Just something to think about.

IF someone doesn't mention the homepage, I never see it.

This may be, but there's a lot of members here that look at the stuff below the fold - announcements, news, latest posts, etc. I'm on a 1920x1080 monitor and it still takes up over 1/3 of the screen. For people with an average screen res, it's taking up 1/2 the screen. I'm in the business too, so I get the end-result behind it but thought I'd offer a suggestion of either making it smaller or have the option to close it out (and keep it closed via a cookie). Not really a big deal, just my .02
