    I would call and re-eval...

very bizarre. I think you have to get it in here or call turn call most rivers.

Are calling here because we think he's not likely to raise IP with a boat here?

I think this is the kind of hand that's not made to be posted in a forum, w/out reads even. It's so player/flow/dynamic dependent.

If we want to stack off here I think it's a clear call/call any river. But I think I fold here quite a bit w/out reads, perhaps too often idk.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

I'm calling because its less likely he'd raise IP in a boat, the pairing makes it less likely he'll even raise a straight now if he slow played that, and cause it seems like a reasonable card to bluff or semi-bluff at.

If I'm calling, its to call and re-eval but often call rivers.

If I call, pot will be $494 with $172 behind.

I'm with alex if we're not folding I'd say call call is best.

But I tend to fold here without specific reads or dynamic.

How do you guys feel about checking behind flop?

Villain is way beyond commitment point needing only 20% equity to call and I very much doubt that he is going to bluff the river or vb worse (and with worse I mean worse that is raise/folding the turn). I mean he isn't folding AXhh/89hh/QJhh if he has that.

There is only merit in calling here if we expect him to have some draws in his range that will fold to a turn shove but bluff the river when missed. I don't see it.

i'd bet smaller on both streets and shove now out of principle (I wouldn't bet 88$ to fold to a raise) but it technically looks like a fold.

How do we balance two smaller bets without being extremely exploitable on the turn?

Perhaps we shouldn't be betting both streets in the first place like meeloche suggested? Just seems really dirty to c/f the flop here, but it could be good.

I don't really care about balance, but I don't see why the majority of your range would want to bet this large ott.

Sizing for river shove so I don't cap my range. That also means I'm probably protected enough for a fold here.
