Hope would require more backstory. Congratulations, but who, what, how?

    congrats by the way
now, link the first two hope threads, and give a quick background. e.g. started poker when? found FTR when? poker BR then was? props to spoon. etc.

also - was value-betting the key?

not sure about the first thread but here's the second one http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...-a-183244.html

Basically I broke my knee skateboarding in June 09 started looking into online poker, couple weeks later found FTR.

I Deposited $50 on stars and started grinding 2nl. After 3 months on crutches / studying and grinding 5nl (and a failed shot at 10nl) I started to get burnt out, especially with being able to walk/skate/live again. I didn't play for maybe 3 months or so but then I returned more determined then ever. I moved up to 10nl then my BR hit $600 and I moved over too full tilt and have been grindin 25nl and here we are

haha defiantly Value betting and constantly ranging are the (not so)secret to beating the micros

Thanks too spoon and m2m and pretty much anyone who has contributed to this forum

    Cool story bro!
"You start the game with a full pot o’ luck and an empty pot o’ experience...
The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

Yeah because I've only been playing on full tilt for like 20k hands. My account on stars has $227 profit and then another ~$200 from before I was 18 which I dont wanna talk about on a public poker forum...

200+227+179 = $606 and the rest is just bonuses & photoshop skillz
