Default $5nl AKs oop facing 3bet pre

Hi, had a little spot today, didn't really know what to do... thoughts?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    UTG ($1.85)
    UTG+1 ($14.79)
    Hero (MP1) ($6.09)
    MP2 ($5)
    CO ($8.50)
    Button ($5)
    SB ($5.01)
    BB ($1.87)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K, A
2 folds, Hero bets $0.15, 2 folds, Button raises to $0.47, 2 folds, Hero ???

Reads... none. He's 9/0 over 9 hands, no showdowns.

There's more to come, I just want to see where you guys go from here...

That's a pretty loose range for a random who has a full stack. I'd say more like QQ+/AK...maybe JJ. I guess just flat. Don't RR.

See this is easy at 2nl, I'm just shoving, but 5nl is not the same game, there's still fish but they're not quite as fishy.

Ok I'm gonna run through the remainder of the hand because I did what you said not to.

Preflop: Button raises to $0.47, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.40, Button raises to $3.65, 1 fold

I went for the raise/fold line because I didn't want to flat and not know where I'm at should I hit the flop with a pair. I realised I didn't want to stack off 100bb deep with just top pair and so fired out to see if he had KK/AA maybe QQ, which is pretty much all he 5bets with unless I got notes. I thought a flat would give him a range of TT-AA AK and we reassess.

Edit, he's not 9/0, he's 11/0, not that it makes any difference (9 hands!).

Just out of curiosity, why does it say "saw flop" at the top? We didn't see a flop!

Also, since you have no reads you could just fold and move on. Its not like youre going to be making boatloads of money from spots like these.

4bet/folding AKs here is bad, just flat and see the flop.

This. Without reads, if you haven't seen anything fishy out of him, give him credit for being the passive donk he probably is. With AKo I'd def fold here. We have a bit more equity with AKs so flattings probably correct, but I think it's close. Stove Kminds range (which I think is good without the JJ) and see what you get.

4betting doesnt seem right here without any reads, where you're most likely flipping or behind. The 9 hands you have on villain dont show much, other than that he probably isn't a complete maniac. The only hand I'd put in the unknown villain's 3betting range that you would be ahead of is AQ. I'd call and reevaluate on the flop.

Also, plan your hand. What are your plans when you make a TPTK hand? What are you doing when you miss the flop? Are you folding to strong aggression with a draw?
Tilt is poker cancer. You catch it, you die.

Yeah I would think flatting would be best option w/o reads!

Thanks for the replies guys. I have to admit that there was a bit of tourney play at work here, I've been playing a lot of mtts and was having to adjust. I think AKo I would've just folded and collected a few hands on him first, I guess I was seduced by the spades! Once he 5bets it's a clear fold yes? Against a range of QQ+ AK I'm way behind, so if that's his 3bet range, why shouldn't I just fold to the 3bet?

Ok, I'm not that far behind QQ+ AK, I didn't stove it before but I just did, and it's 41%, good enough to see a flop with this much dead money in the pot. So definitely don't fold to 3bet, and don't 4bet either otherwise I'm in trouble to a call or a raise.
