KK in 3-bet pot, line check.

Default KK in 3-bet pot, line check.

Villains seems like as fairly standrad tag running 22/17 over 400 hands, he folds to 70% of 3 bets. Not played with him in ages and don't really know much about his game at all.

Flop and Pre are obv pretty std. On the turn I expect him to expect me to barrel this with air a lot. Think I still get called here by any Jx QQ maybe even an underapir sometimes and that I defo get more value this way than checking turn and betting river which looks way more valuey imo.

I don't expect him to have too much Ax here nor to raise it on this turn if he does. So I'm almost tempted to hero call since he appears to rep JJ, AJ and not much else. Guess there are some semi bluffs he can have although not all that many combos.

He's got a ton of Ax in his range, the most likely ones being A3s and A5s since he shoved. AQcc/hh doesn't fold the flop but probably doesn't shove turn. I wouldn't completely discount JJ/AJ just because he shoved.

Could definitely see him making a poor decision with his value range here so I'd play the same as you.

I can see why the shove seems FoS to you. The shove is somewhat odd, as I'd expect JJJ/AJ to flat some reasonable % on the turn.

But at the same time, what does he think YOU have? Probably lots of Ax, AK/AQ and I doubt he's gonna try bluffing you here. His range is also pretty strong given his fold to 3bet stat.

Just don't feel like he's bluffing you here.

the main assumption we have to make is how often he floats this flop with KQdd,KTdd,QTdd. He can also have JTdd,QJdd,KJdd.

You're getting good odds, this is close. I agree these guys can also have JJ,AJ,AQ here.

Why don't you pokerstove the most likely range and see if it's any close? I think it is. I also think having the Kd here is crucial since it eliminates half his semibluff combos.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Yeah I think if I knew he was decent I'd be way more likely to call here since he just wouldn't play value hands this way often at all. Everyone like betting the turn for value over c/c or c/f?

your line is good. him jamming the turn with any hand is likely a mistake, just be glad he did and saved you money
