Default 50PLO - Backdoor draw OOP

Was thinking about how to play hands when we hit a pivot card. This came up and I butchered it, but was curious about your thoughts...

2 villains behind me, seems I'd get called by hands with a J, low wraps, flush draws. Thus I should expect a call but my hand is currently garbage so it's clearly not for value.

I'm thinking check and possibly hand checks around and we pickup free equity otherwise ...
If CO bets and BTN calls then call because we can pick up equity and have a better chance of someone sticking around?
If CO bets and BTN folds then fold? because we have nothing HU and can expect a 2nd barrel
If BTN bets call, maybe CO comes along, maybe BTN is just stabbing and checks behind turn?

    CO: $182.20
    BTN: $30.65
    SB: $71.55
    BB: $54.25
    UTG: $38.00
    Hero (MP): $50.00

    Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is MP with K Q 9 T
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.75, CO calls $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, 2 folds

    Flop: ($6.00) 3 4 J (3 players)
    Hero ...

    Anyway, I bet...
Hero bets $5.00, CO calls $5.00, BTN folds

    Turn: ($16.00) 8 (2 players)
    Hero ...

Is this a bet/call, standard gamble spot? If villain shoved I can't imagine we're in great shape, but I also don't think he has a hand here very often. Do we just give up on a bricked, or river?

If we had c/c flop (or even now) would we consider a c/r here?

i want to block the turn for like $5 depending on the villian and fold to a jam. i feel like if we check hes gonna PAWT it but if we bet and he jams we're against like 2pair+fd or like getting freerolled by another AT9xss so i like blocking alot.

however if the villian is an aggro reg id rather just c/f tbh id rather just c/f the flop as well but i'm more nitty than some in multi way pots.

I'd c/f flop, I would like betting more if it was a rainbow board. under no circumstances can you call a bet otf

    as played I b/f $10 ott

I can see c-betting here OOP vs. 2 if we have 2 BD flush draws + BD SD because we pick up good equity on a ton of turns. This just seems overly optimistic that both whiffed and we hit runner-runner with a 2-flush flop.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

So are we betting in position on a rainbow board, but checking behind on this board?

absent reads I'd always check this flop, most bw hands have enough to peel and it hit low as well. But I'm usually the most aggro at the table, I guess if you're nitty it's OK.
