    Default Board textures and c-betting

I've read on some posts that we should look at the board texture before deciding to cbet. Can anyone clarify that more for me? What does that mean?

Say you open with deuces in LP and an 20/10 player calls in the BB. Flop comes A95. BB checks, do you c-bet? Most times, hell yes!

You raise with AdAh from EP, CO calls, BU calls and BB calls. Flop comes QJT all spades. CO and BU are calling stations. BB is a tight player and checks to you. How often are you c-betting this?

22 = D range = c/f, not cbet. You can cbet if cbetting 100% there as a bluff is profitable but if not then that's a great candidate to let go.

At what point did I specify we're c-betting 100% for value? It mostly is as a bluff. We have position and initiative to take it down right there. Yes, deuces are in our D range. But we're talking about <25nl here where weak/tight is the norm so I see no reason not to cbet here. Please enlighten me.

You misunderstood me. I was saying you were betting 22 as a bluff and that is usually poor. If he'll literally fold everything that's not TP+ then betting as a bluff is very profitable of course. But if he starts floating or calling with midpairs or whatever than I'd much rather have like TJ or something. You want to form ranges and IF you have a c/f range then the lower PP would be my first choice for it.
