Pretty ridiculous when someone pleads guilty to drunken manslaughter and will serve a total of 24 days in jail

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4262751

Seriously, DUI MANSLAUGHTER and he gets 30 days (which turns into 24 somehow). It's fucking pathetic and everyone involved should be ashamed.

Someone made a good point, how laughable is it that Michael Vick's punishment (2.5yrs in prison) was so much greater than this?!?!?!?

Also, say it aint so Sammy Sosa, guess that head didn't get bigger all by itself.

And in 3 years, nobody will even remember this ever happened **cough**leonardlittle**cough**

It's nuts what these guys get away with.

Plaxico will be the same obv. There is no such thing as a truly mandatory sentence if you are a famous athlete.

As for the Sosa news? Why is this even news? I thought everyone already knew he was on the shit.

lol@Sosa. I mean that was the most obv thing ever even back when it was happening (see pictures jyms posted). I love how all the media acts so appalled that these people used steroids. WTF did you think was going on? These folks just all of a sudden gain 40 lbs of muscle and became ultimate home run machines by accident? I do feel kinda bad for Sosa though because steroids not only gave him home run power, but also the ability to speak English, which he quickly lost after he stopped using them.

Now how about releasing the other 103 names on the list plz to protect the innocent and condemn the guilty.

As for Stallworth(less), he is certainly not the first NFL player to get away with killing someone. Pretty damn pathetic indeed.

Yea there was a payoff, the amount wasn't revealed.

I heard something about the Plaxico case where under NYC Law he HAS to serve jail time, no way around it. You carry an unlicensed fire-arm inside the city and it's jail time, 100%. We'll have to wait and see as the trial was postponed til September I believe.

It's a 3.5 year minimum. He'll never do that. He may serve some time, but nowhere close to that.
