b/f turn and now fold river.

His call sent some loud bells telling me to proceed with caution, plus the board was getting quite coordinated.

Which of these hands folds turn?

    Quite possible: AT, JT, 89, 56, 67, 78
    Somewhat possible: 64, 68, 8T

Good point!! I bet the flop for value but I didn't expect to get called. The turn made the board a lot more coordinated, and I didn't feel comfortable playing for >100bb with just an overpair; hence the check.

Definitely bet the turn. I think it improbable that villain has completed his hand on that board, if he comes over the top fold. You need to give the villain worse odds to continue.
    As played fold the river.

Its not really for value if you dont expect to get called, and think you're beat if you are though. Look through my partial range above, they're all hands that you're still ahead of. A lot of them are draws that picked up a pair, or pairs that picked up a draw. They'll never fold them, and on a blank river they'll call a small bet...just because.

The board became more coordinated in a 'more likely he now has a draw' kind of way, not in a 'likely he completed a draw' kind of way, and really only 9T improved to 2P, so this is a perfect value betting spot.
