    Default Review Videos

Rather than post the whole hand history here I just made a quick video of some of my playing.

If anyone wants to look at it and give me some critiques it would be appreciated and I would be glad to return the favor.

If anyone has videos/hand files they can just post them here and everyone can put them through the replayer.

Also, is there a way to export your hands or sessions on PT?

Do we need to register to watch videos from that site? I am wondering also if you can export a session from PT.

You're better off uploading it to megaupload.com. It's free, and you don't need an account to view the video.

It says I don't have permission to watch that video.

    Nipple yes...Mandy no.

Sorry, didn't know it wasn't viewable. I'll upload it to another place.

I'm not a short-handed expert nor do I have as much experience as others, so take these comments with a grain of salt.

    1) I'd raise QQ preflop. If you let your opponents see a flop cheap, you don't know where you stand. 3-handed you might be able to get all in preflop against AQ, AJ, JJ, 1010, etc.

    2) AJs is a good hand in a 6-handed game. I'd raise preflop.

    3) In several instances, you've got a chance to take a stab at orphan pots against weak opponents. Take the free money.

    4) Q10s, in position, at a passive table, in a limped pot is playable.

    5) K2s when you hit your flush, you've got bad relative position to try and raise here. I am not a big fan of slowplaying since you need so many conditions for it to be correct. But here, you don't have the nuts, but close to it. You've got bad relative position. You've got deep stacked opponents relative to the (very small) pot size. You've got what appears to be the most aggressive player leading strong from the sb. You've got an obvious draw filling in an obvious drawing spot (but fortunately also a straight draw that didn't fill yet). You've got a table with a bunch of weak players but no calling stations. In this specific instance, flat calling that board is likely to get you more action. This is one of the very few spots where I like a slowplay.

    Exactly.

Good points. The QQ I don't know what I was thinking. I was going to raise it but I guess I was afraid he would just fold and that I probably would still be ahead if I limped but if an A or K showed up I wouldn't know where I was in the hand.

QTs, I remember there being a calling station and I don't think I had even a T so I was hesitant to be aggressive at this table and let the other guy do all the betting.

Just curious what you use to record the video?
"You start the game with a full pot o’ luck and an empty pot o’ experience...
The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

Just my thoughts (I do not play a lot of HU or 6 max):

99- I raise this after he limps. It is (I assume) the 2nd hand against this guy and it is a good hand to test his reaction to a raise.

K9o- I like the fold. I would rather know more about this guy before getting into it with him

QQ- Well, you already know where this went wrong

AJs- With the poster in this pot already I raise here. Even against calling stations this is a hand I want to play (against calling stations especially) Your raises have been being repected so far and could have taken down the pot with a cbet.

KQ- I'm back and forth on this one, part of me wants to call and the other part says fold your beat. I can think of more reasons to fold though so that was probably be the better move

QTs- I raise in the CO. You either buy position, take the blinds, or got to the flop with a decent hand. win, win, win.

K3s- I raise the flop. It will be hard to get players to commit more chips after your flush hits and you have the gut shot to go with. The only hand that has a huge edge over you is AKs. I would flat the turn and try to induce a bet on the river. (although I think we saw the flop better limp AK earlier)

I think you had a strong table image and missed the chance to take advantage of that in some pots. This looked like a good table for some aggression when IP.

I use camstudio but I would prefer to just use a hand history file with a replayer but I haven't figured out how to do that with PT.

Thanks Lock for the output. I think my image was extremely aggressive and that's why I backed off...not saying that was the correct action but that's why I did it.

I think I gave up some good opportunities throughout the session which I will push more even if the outcome isn't desirable.

Anyone else want to post something up?

99 is too good to just check the bb with heads up. as played, did you know his range consisted of all of air or did you just stubbornly call the flop and turn?

I open A2o on the button all day, especially against these passive guys

KQs utg 6 handed, meh. im ok with a raise, but if you raise kqs utg, you should be raising AJs.

i at least limp the QTs hand, passive table, lot of equity, but i might raise here too.

i open K5s button against these guys too, and probably that K9o in mp.

^^the loose button openers here are mainly due to the passivity of the table. alot of players there are limping some garbage hands and these ones should be reasonably ahead. I dont know what to say about the A9 hand, i think the fold was correct but im not certain.

For the 99 hand, his bets just seemed...off like he was going for something but hadn't hit it yet. Just a feeling I had otherwise I would have let it go.

I'd love to review someone else's but until someone posts it here's another one where I just lost tons of money on today and am wondering how I could have saved some.

You'll need a Universal hand replayer for this.
