Default $400NL - AA facing raise on paired flop.

Villain is a very typical Tagg reg running 19/16/3 with a 3bet% of 6.
Neither of us get out of line against each other very often.

    $2/$4 No Limit Holdem
    3 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    BTN ($517.10)
    Hero ($542.00)
    BB ($426.30)

    Pre-flop: ($6, 3 players) Hero is SB
BTN folds, Hero bets $12, BB calls $10

    Flop: ($28, 2 players)
Hero bets $20, BB bets $60, Hero raises to $136 total

Either 3 bet and get it in or slowplay by calling and c/r a safe turn. I'm gonna wanna stack off here unless villains a huge nit.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

Idk I don't like it because your just not getting him to get it in with a wide range here. I think I'd rather call and c/r the turn all in.

    this.

the only bad turn card is an 8, but even still he's not raising an 8 here. basically its a draw/air or the nuts.

edit: that being said, danny do you think 3-betting is actually better since we get him to put it in probably with draws, whereas he will likely take a free card on the turn?

I think 3-betting's bad without some history or knowing he's a thinking player that likes to hero call or hero shove lines that shouldn't be.

My thoughts at the time were that if I just call his raise, he's going to put me on an overpair or maybe TPTK.
He knows I'm not the spewy type to float here OOP with overcards or something.

Therefore, if I just call the flop and check the turn to him, he is going to bet everything that beats my range and check everything that doesnt.

In addition, I was thinking my line looks bluffy, and maybe I could get him to do something crazy.

fwiw i think an 8's more of an action killer than a bad card for our hand
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
