Easy call. If they have a set, then "gg" and onto the next one.

I would call, most likely you will run into X8 or TT

Firstly, bet more on that very drawy flop. With about 500 chips in the pot on the flop, I make it either full pot or close to full pot.

As played, easy call for me, you run into flush draws, A9 and lots of other hands you beat here. If they have T8, two pair or a set then so be it.

    maybe making 360 preflop,build a bigger pot?
like taipan said, pot bet here and insta shove
    esp 3.40 and 5.50 buy-in

I actually raise this a bit more preflop, say to around 270-300. You might get away with 360 as Hangchiong said, but that may just be expensive enough to lose our customer.

Definitely bet pot on flop. Betting half pot gives him 3:1 which is dangerous on that board. When he raises my flop bet I shove em in for the same reasons Tai said.

    fred1010: raises 2160 to 2400 and is all-in
revolvingIRS: calls 1380 and is all-in
Uncalled bet (780) returned to fred1010
    *** TURN *** [9s 7d 6s] [Kd]
    *** RIVER *** [9s 7d 6s Kd] [9c]
    *** SHOW DOWN ***
revolvingIRS: shows [Ac As] (two pair, Aces and Nines)
fred1010: shows [8d Tc] (a straight, Six to Ten)
    fred1010 collected 3735 from pot
    *** SUMMARY ***
    Total pot 3735 | Rake 0
    Board [9s 7d 6s Kd 9c]
Seat 2: relichunter0 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 3: fred1010 showed [8d Tc] and won (3735) with a straight, Six to Ten
Seat 4: JSP11 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: INTZBM2 (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 6: revolvingIRS (big blind) showed [Ac As] and lost with two pair, Aces and Nines
Seat 7: cassconst folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 8: UpInTheAirII folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 9: emerson120 folded before Flop (didn't bet)

Classic situation of why I should have bet more preflop

Your being results oriented. You're not going to win every hand.

Im not saying I should have raised more pre because I lost. I should have 3x which is what I would normally do. He prob still would have called and I still would have lost. Im just thinking long term chip extraction.
  10. #10
If you keep playing against that player long term there will be lots of chips to extract
  11. #11
Was it the posting or folding that got him up to 2600 chips before this hand?
  12. #12
Yep, I agree with the others, I make it 270-300 preflop. As mikeneron said, if he's going to call that kind of preflop 3-bet with T8o then he's going to lose a lot more money in the future.

Your 3-bet was 30 chips less than it should have...so what. This is just a poor decision by villian that got rewarded. Its very difficult to play poorly when you have AA, so don't worry about this hand. You did 3bet, which is the right decision

I just thought your two different uses of "you're" and "your" were funny...when they should be the same.

    Fjuanl said it best.
