    Default UK live 2day event

A friend and I will be playing in the World Amateur Poker Championship Festival, was wondering if anyone else is either in this even or would be interested in going! www.apat.com

The APAT World Amateur Poker Championship will take place at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London, between August 27th & 31st.

The festival will feature one day Championship events in Omaha, Razz and Stud; with the centrepiece No Limit Hold'em World Amateur Poker Championship taking place over two days.

Online satellites for the main event will be held via Blue Square at 8pm between July 21st & 24th. These can be found in the Tournament / Specials / APAT tab on the Blue Square Poker client.

The World Amateur Poker Championship event will be available to APAT members via direct buy in from this article, from 9pm on July 25th. Direct buy ins to the side events will also be available here as follows: Omaha (July 22nd, 9pm), Razz (July 23rd, 9pm) and Stud (July 24th, 9pm. Seats are expected to sell out extremely quickly.

Sounds interesting...could well be up for this.

Did you see the bit about a "Team Event" thats just finished? Should have got a FTRUK Dream Team entered. Showed them how the ballas roll (or in my case how the $25nl ballas roll)...

    I really wanna go!
Problem is seats go on sale tomorrow, there's only 80-100, how quick do you think they'll go?
I don't think I can get organised by tomorrow to know if I can go.
Eh, if a few FTR'ers go I might go down anyway and just play cash or something.

I dunno how quick they'll go, but I'll be buying mine at 9am sharp. There will obviously be a few who want to sell their tickets in the forum after they've sold out so keep your eyes out if you dont managed to get one.

Not sure where were staying over yet, anyone liek to join us in accommodation?

I'm getting my mum to get my ticket at 9 tonight while I'm out. She is however illiterate with computers so it could be a bit touch and go

I'll be around London whenever. My brother has property in Camden Town so I'm staying there. We'll sort something out nearer the time

Found a quote from the guy who actually runs the thing on thehendonmob forum.

It's down altogether now and will be reset tomorrow when the support team are back online. It is then likely to be Tuesday before the new DNS is available everywhere, or so I'm told.

There were still some seats left for all events when the site went down, so anyone who has purchased a seat has got it. No need to worry, it's that simple.
So the website will be alive again on Tuesday and also it appears my seat is guaranteed

I thought the seats would go a lot faster than they have.

I have double and triple checked and am definitely on the players list, and definitely got my seat while there were still seats left.

Sorry to be a bit paranoid, but its been a week now so I'm a little concerned about this.
Did you have to post this I was hoping they would never charge for the event. Seems a bit stupid they charge nearer the event as ppl obv had money there now to pay, but may not when it goes through next as they don't actually know what date its going to be taken out.

Haha, I guess it did seem like it was being a snitch

It just seemed weird that they charged and then credited back. I had to ask because the account I'm using I normally keep close to empty, so I need to know when I need to have £75 in there.
