Default 100NL, top two on straight turn

villain is 30/10/1.2. What's the optimal way to proceed from turn on? Sometimes i dont really want to overcommit in small pots.

    that's kinda hard.

87, 55 sure, but he might flat instead of raise flop.
Sets and 53 for the made straight play like this (do you know if he limps 53 in MP?), but he might shove with a set.
I don't see him taking this flop line with any other hands with a 3.

Very likely 88+, esp if you've seen him limp higher pairs.
64 is in there for sure... think he plays 74?

So I think you're behind a little more than you're ahead, and none of the hands you beat will call a bet except the weaker 2p and maybe sometimes overpairs.

Most of his range will bet if checked to, but the part you beat is the part most likely to check.

So I think you should check and consider calling a small bet but folding to a large one.

c/f, maybe call a small bet depending on the sample size you have on him - if that agg. factor is likely accurate I will happily c/f this.

okay, guys. As played, we both checked through on the turn. A king came out on the river, i c/c his $20 river bet. Hmmm, this passive guy had 55. Fuck my life, I 'm always tempted to call any medium size river bet in these situations.

I don't hate the way this hand was played!

My only insight here is that with so much money behind, there may be value in seeing a turn card before we commit.

Making a monster pot on the flop with 2 pair vs a set is a pretty big difference as the set will hold up better.
