Default Shouldn't this pot have been split?

Got this weird situation on pokerstars tonight.

Cards on board were [6s As Ks 8s] [9c]

Other guy had [Ts Th], I had [5s 2s]. I was all in. The pot went to him saying he won with a flush, Ace high.

Shouldn't the pot have been split instead of going all to him?

no, he has the T of the flush cards and you only the 5. If you both have lower flush then on the board then it's split. Now the T is higher then 2 of the flushcards on board.

No, his flush was :As: :Ks: :Ts: where yours was :As: :Ks:

His was the higher flush hand.

No problem. I have had misunderstandings at first too. Just keep trying to understand it all.
