Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, K.
Hero raises to $0.4, 2 folds, Button calls $0.40, 2 folds.

Been at this table maybe 30 hands, villains are both typical 10nl players see to many flops, call down with too many mid pairs.

    1. Definite spew - most broadway combos beat you and opp is not calling you with the ones you beat.

    2. I think you have to bet turn a bit harder

1st one at 10nl players i think are too afraid of flush draws that the river becomes a super scare card to him and he won't call you w/outi t .. so you might actually bluff out 2 pr combos.

actually you need to shut down on the turn because any Q just got there and i dotn think you're ever called when ahead.

2nd one .. i like a jam on the turn... its a bit of an overbet, but it looks like you dont want him to call and the Q is a scare card so we're basically hoping he thinks all this (this is called a merge range) and calls us light.

ummm, i wouldnt recommend playing so tight for a simple reason ... i mean, unless you are the most patient person in the world. i know i couldnt do it...but hte reason is ... like ... when you finally do pick up a big hand, you will tend to not want to let go of it no matter how much the board and villains lines are telling you you are beat. then you lose a big pot and think "god, how long til i get another big hand just to make another dumb mistake and get stacked" ... it appears this might be an issue w/ u, i know it would be one w/ me....for that reason alone i hate playing nitty.

Hand 1....definite spew, you've turned your hand into a bluff and won't be called by worse here, even from piss poor players. I shut down on turn.

Hand 2...Is Jam on turn and probably raise slightly more pre-flop.

    Does jam mean shove?

I was kinda thinking both hands work as a pure bluff, I hand 1 if they are not holding a straight or flush they have to fold, in hand 2 w/o a T I don't see how he can call.

And I do not like my turn bet in hand 2 either. I think I was scared of a set and if called on turn was going to fold river, but I thought the river card was too good not to bluff.

No, they're even worse as bluffs
