    Back in my big winning days, I would think this is pretty standard, but villain was a pretty tight player so I'm starting to rethink if there could be a different way I want to play this one? ...

    no way you should ever play this differently. get the money in as fast as possible.

    in a 3-bet pot there really is only one way to play this hand on that flop.

    BTW, why don't you post all your hands in one thread?

    I like it a lot postflop. If you're 3 betting light can you really ask for a better flop?

    Look at the bright side: At least you didn't hit your straight on river after the turn paired.

    That suprised me. On the other hand, there's money in the pot, so it's +EV.

    Also, checking flop behind and having to fold to some turn bets sounds pretty gross to me as well.

    Could be I'm thinking to simplistic tho.

    lol when i posted i didnt realize i had the flush draw also, i was looking through hands to post, thought i had only the straight draw. that change anythign in anybody's mind?

    He commits himself with his raise so fold. If you had overs it's different.
